Selah is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Nutrition Counselor. For the past ten years, she has trained and counseled clients from all ages and walks of life in a wide variety of areas such as weight loss, injury rehabilitation, senior citizen fitness, strength gain, balance/coordination and clients with special conditions (arthirits, joint pain, back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, obesity, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, diabetes). Selah’s father, a professional basketball player, taught her and got her interested in fitness and nutrition.
She was growing fruits and veggies in her backyard, avoiding empty calories and hitting up the gym while other kids were playing video games and sipping soda!
During Selah’s senior year of high school, she spent less time playing sports and noticed her weight jump up soon after, which she didn’t like. This motivated her to start working out in a gym, in order to keep burning as many calories as she did when she was more involved in sports. Selah loved working out so much that she started training people at the local gym with the basic knowledge she had.
When Selah went to school at UC Irvine, she mastered nutrition and honed her fitness skills. She moved to Los Angeles after graduation to pursue a career in Fitness & Nutrition.
